The Vanguard VEO 3 233CPS is a lightweight carbon fibre tripod designed to deliver excellent stability for photography, video and observation. Weighing just 1.76 kg while supporting equipment weighing up to 6 kg, it offers an excellent balance between portability, strength and versatility. Its three-section 23 mm carbon fibre legs use precision CNC-manufactured components for dependable stability and durability. The tripod extends to a maximum height of 158.5 cm and folds down to 66.8 cm for transport.

The included Vanguard VEO PH-36S pan head provides controlled multi-axis movement for photography, video, spotting scopes and other observation equipment. Its independent controls allow the position of the mounted equipment to be adjusted and locked securely, while the handles can be arranged for comfortable operation. One tripod leg can also be removed and combined with the centre column to create a monopod, extending the versatility of the system when a full tripod is impractical.

VEO PH-36S PAN HEAD

The included VEO PH-36S is designed for versatile photographic, video and observation use. Its control arrangement allows independent movements to be made before locking the equipment securely into position.

The handles can be positioned to suit different shooting configurations and can also be arranged for more comfortable left-handed operation.

When the controls are positioned appropriately, the head is particularly well suited to equipment such as:

The head also includes a numbered panoramic base to assist with controlled horizontal movements and panoramic photography.

CARBON FIBRE CONSTRUCTION

The VEO 3 233CPS uses carbon fibre legs to keep overall weight low without sacrificing the rigidity required for heavier camera and observation equipment.

At only 1.76 kg, the tripod remains practical for travel and field use while supporting equipment weighing up to 6 kg.

MONOPOD CONVERSION

One of the tripod legs can be removed and converted into a monopod using the centre-column assembly.

This provides a useful alternative when travelling light, working in confined areas or following moving subjects where repositioning a conventional tripod would be inconvenient.

LOW-ANGLE OPERATION

Three selectable leg angles provide greater flexibility when working on uneven ground or positioning equipment close to the ground.

For macro photography and other very low-level applications, the supplied low-angle adapter can be used. The centre column can also be reversed when an alternative low-position configuration is required.

ACCESSORY MOUNTING

The tripod canopy incorporates two 3/8-inch threaded accessory mounting points.
