About this product

Deep Gold. Major Performance.

The GPZ 7000 sets a new benchmark in gold detection with advanced ZVT Technology™, offering up to 40 per cent more depth than previous GPX Series detectors. Its Super‑D coil is highly sensitive to gold of all sizes, from fine flakes to large nuggets. Precision ground balance ensures optimal performance across a wide range of soil types, including highly mineralised ground. Built-in GPS and PC mapping tools help you log finds, retrace your steps, and maximise ground coverage. With 256 Noise Cancel channels, the detector maintains smooth, stable performance in tough conditions. Wireless audio options and a rugged, weather-resistant design make it a dependable choice for serious prospectors in demanding environments.

ZVT Technology™

ZVT (Zero Voltage Transmission) technology, developed by Bruce Candy and exclusive to Minelab, delivers up to 40 per cent more depth than traditional PI detectors. It uses high-power magnetic fields for extreme sensitivity to gold of all sizes, even in mineralised ground. A breakthrough for serious prospectors targeting deeper gold.

Super‑D Coil Advantage

The Super‑D coil delivers increased sensitivity to both small and large gold targets, improving your chances of finding what others have missed. Its unique configuration provides better ground coverage, reduced noise, and sharper target signals, especially in highly mineralised conditions. Designed for clarity and consistency, it helps you pinpoint targets more accurately and detect across a wide range of soil types. Compatible with other GPZ coils, it’s a high-performance tool built for serious prospecting.

Precision Ground Balance

Precision Ground Balance handles everything from normal to difficult and highly mineralised soils with accuracy and consistency. With both automatic and manual options available, it maintains stable operation as ground conditions shift. The Quick-Trak trigger lets you instantly rebalance without interrupting your search, ensuring peak performance in challenging environments. This system is essential for deep, stable detection and also supports expert-level tuning for those who want complete control.

Enhanced Noise Immunity

With 256 Noise Cancel channels, this detector reduces atmospheric and electrical interference for a cleaner, quieter detecting experience. It maintains a smooth threshold, letting you hear faint target signals more clearly. With Auto and Manual Noise Cancel, GPZ 700 adapts to changing environments and minimise background noise, giving you greater confidence when detecting in high-interference areas.

Integrated GPS & Mapping

Built-in GPS locating and PC mapping give you greater control and efficiency in the field. Log WayPoints, FindPoints and full GeoHunt paths as you detect, so you can track your route and pinpoint exactly where gold was found. Save and sync this data via Minelab’s XChange2® software to view your detecting history on Google Maps. This helps you revisit past productive areas, increase ground coverage and plan future hunts with precision.

Wireless Audio Options

The GPZ 7000 delivers wireless audio through the included WM 12 module, giving you the flexibility to detect using the built-in speaker, supplied headphones or your own. Low-latency signal transmission ensures crisp, clear target audio in real time. With no cords restricting movement, it’s easier to change positions, cover more ground and stay focused throughout long sessions.

XChange2® Application (PC Only)

Version 1.8.7-1.4.2 Released October 2023. Installation Guide: 1.Download “XChange2–1.8.7-1.4.2.exe” / 2. Restart your computer / 3.
