About this product
Engineered to be an indispensable addition to your hunting gear, theVortex 10x42 Fury 5000 HD Gen II Laser Rangefinder Binocularis a premium general-purpose optic and a laser ranging device that can accurately measure the distance to a deer up to 1600 yards away or a reflective surface 5000 yards distant. Its Horizontal Component Distance feature shows the true shot range out to 800 yards for mild slopes, 400 yards on moderate slopes, and all archery shooting (you have the option of line-of-sight ranging for longer shots, using ballistic cards or apps, etc.) Optically, the Fury 5000 HD boasts a high magnification and coated lenses and prisms for bright, clear, high-contrast images with accurate colour rendition, even in low light. It has a generous field of view and can be mounted on a tripod for shake-free glassing.
The rangefinder is activated using an intuitive two-button interface located on the right optical barrel. Its in-view display has five brightness settings, displays distance in yards or metres, and can be focused for clarity. Built to survive in punishing conditions, the Fury's chassis is wrapped in a protective rubber armouring that is textured to provide a secure slip-resistant grip. The optical tubes are nitrogen filled and O-ring sealed to provide water and fogproof performance in even the most extreme conditions. All exposed lens surfaces are treated with Vortex's ArmorTek coatings to protect against scratches, oil, and dirt. Tethered objective lens covers and an ocular rain guard are easy to remove when quick reactions are required, and go on quickly to keep rain and snow out.
