Z13 and Z17 Coil Pack for the GPZ 8000

Two Genuine Minelab Z-Set Coils

Minelab Z13 + Z17 Coil Pack for GPZ 8000

Expand the GPZ 8000 beyond a single search-coil role. This two-coil pack combines the manoeuvrable 13-inch Z13 with the stable 17-inch Z17, giving serious prospectors dedicated options for vegetation-heavy mineralised ground, conductive soil and high-noise detecting environments.

Minelab Z17 17 inch Concentric Toroidal coil for the GPZ 8000

Coil Pack Overview Adapt the GPZ 8000 to the ground

The Z13 and Z17 provide specialised options for tighter terrain and difficult conductive or electrically noisy environments.

Z13 for rugged and vegetation-heavy terrain Z17 for conductive soil and noisy conditions Both designed for small-to-medium gold

‹ ›

Minelab Z13 13 inch Z-Set Concentric Toroidal coil

Z13 Spotlight Control in rugged terrain

The 13-inch Z13 is the more manoeuvrable option in the Z-Set range, designed for mineralised ground, uneven terrain and areas where vegetation restricts the sweep.

13-inch Z-Set Concentric Toroidal coil Small-to-medium gold target range Balanced for controlled detecting

‹ ›

Minelab Z17 17 inch Z-Set Concentric Toroidal coil

Z17 Spotlight Stability in noisy ground

The 17-inch Z17 is designed for ground affected by conductivity, atmospheric noise or electromagnetic interference, while maintaining a strong response to small-to-medium gold.

17-inch Z-Set Concentric Toroidal coil Conductive-ground performance Stable operation in high-noise locations

Why Add the Z13 and Z17?

Each coil is engineered for a different group of prospecting conditions, allowing the GPZ 8000 to be matched more closely to the terrain and surrounding electrical or atmospheric noise.

More Terrain Options Move from confined vegetation and rugged ground to larger, more open search areas without relying on one coil for every location.

Manage Difficult Noise The Z17 provides a dedicated option where conductive soil, atmospheric noise or electromagnetic interference makes detecting difficult.

Select the Right Coil Choose manoeuvrability with the Z13 or the larger Z17 search footprint and noise-focused stability as conditions change.

Z13 Coil Spotlight

Built to move through difficult terrain

The Z13 is the compact, manoeuvrable member of the GPZ 8000 Z-Set range. Minelab positions it for mineralised ground, rugged terrain and vegetation-heavy locations where controlled coil placement is especially important.

Designed for small-to-medium gold in mineralised ground.
More manoeuvrable around scrub, rocks and uneven terrain.
Balanced handling supports controlled detecting.
Genuine GPZ 8000 Z-Set Concentric Toroidal coil.

Nominal Size 13 inches

Minelab SKU 3011-0502

Best Suited To Rugged, vegetated terrain

Target Range Small to medium gold

Z17 Coil Spotlight

Stable operation when the ground gets noisy

The Z17 is designed for locations where soil conductivity, atmospheric noise or electromagnetic interference can make detecting more difficult. Its 17-inch footprint provides the larger of the two accessory-coil options in this pack.

Designed for conductive soil and high-noise detecting conditions.
Stable operation with a strong target response.
Targets a diverse range of small-to-medium gold.
Genuine GPZ 8000 Z-Set Concentric Toroidal coil.

Nominal Size 17 inches

Minelab SKU 3011-0503

Best Suited To Conductive and noisy ground

Target Range Small to medium gold

Minelab Z17 17 inch Concentric Toroidal accessory coil for GPZ 8000

One Pack, Two Different Jobs

Select the Z13 when physical access and coil control matter most. Move to the Z17 when conductive ground or external noise demands a larger, stable alternative.

Z13 Terrain and manoeuvrability

Best matched to rugged, mineralised and vegetation-heavy locations where a smaller coil is easier to position and control.

Z17 Conductivity and noise

Best matched to conductive ground, atmospheric noise and electromagnetic interference while targeting small-to-medium gold.

Complete the Three-Coil Z-Set System

For owners of the GPZ 8000 Single Coil Pack, the detector is supplied with the 18-inch Z18. Adding this Z13 and Z17 pack creates a three-coil selection covering manoeuvrability, noisy or conductive ground, and large-coil open-ground prospecting.

Add with this pack Z13 — 13"

The manoeuvrable option for vegetation, rugged terrain and small-to-medium gold in mineralised ground.

Terrain Control

Add with this pack Z17 — 17"

The stable option for conductive soils, high EMI and atmospheric noise while targeting small-to-medium gold.

Noise Stability

Single Coil Pack Coil Z18 — 18"

The large standard option for broad ground coverage and open-area prospecting with the GPZ 8000 Single Coil Pack.

Open Ground Coverage

Package note: GPZ 8000 package contents can vary by country and product configuration. The Z18 comparison above refers specifically to the GPZ 8000 Single Coil Pack.
