Celestron Labs Digital 5MP Handheld Microscope - Mark on sensor

This unit is new in the box and fully operational, but unfortunately has a mark on its sensor that is not cost-effective for us to fix.

The Celestron Labs Digital 5MP Handheld Microscope is your gateway to exploring the microscopic world with unmatched clarity and precision. With a magnification range of 20x to 200x and a true 5MP digital sensor, this advanced microscope is ideal for examining three-dimensional objects in stunning detail—whether you’re inspecting electronics and circuit boards, studying insects and plant structures, or documenting materials for research or quality control.

Achieving your desired magnification is simple. Move the microscope closer or farther from your subject (or adjust its position on the stand) until you reach the perfect level of detail. This coarse focusing method sets your magnification. Then, bring your subject into razor-sharp focus with the integrated fine focus wheel. All your key controls are within easy reach—including the fine focus wheel, polarizing filter wheel, and on-body shutter trigger. That means you can fine-tune focus, adjust lighting, and capture images with just one hand.

Getting started takes just a few minutes. Connect the microscope to your computer with the attached USB-C cable, download and launch the free Celestron Labs Digital Imaging HD Software, and start exploring. The software allows you to capture still images and videos, take notes, and record accurate measurements of your specimens with the calibration ruler. This microscope is truly the ideal tool for classrooms, laboratories, or quality control work.

The professional 5-element IR-cut glass lens and true 5MP digital sensor deliver sharp, high-resolution images directly to your computer screen. With the press of a button, you can capture still images (up to 2592 x 1944 px). Adjust the built-in LED ring light using the brightness control on the USB cable to achieve perfect illumination. For shiny or wet surfaces, rotate the built-in polarizing filter to minimize glare and reveal hidden details.

The adjustable microscope stand allows you to precisely position your specimen in seconds. Use the metal post to raise or lower the microscope for coarse focusing and to change magnification. Secure your subject with the built-in specimen clips to keep it steady while you observe or capture images. For larger objects that won’t fit on the stand, rotate the microscope arm up to 180° to examine them right on your work surface. The microscope includes a clip with a ¼”-20 thread that allows you to attach it to any standard photo tripod (sold separately), giving you more flexibility in where and how you observe. Whether you’re using a compact tabletop tripod in a tight workspace, a flexible tripod wrapped around a tree branch in the field, or a low-profile tripod for unique angles, this feature lets you position the microscope exactly where you need it. To access the thread, simply release the locking nut of the microscope clip and remove it from the stand.

Compact, portable, and easy to use, the Celestron Labs Digital Handheld Microscope Pro 5MP brings professional-grade imaging to your desktop, whether you’re a student, educator, hobbyist, or professional researcher.
