How the recovery process works

1. Bring your device in-store Drop off the affected memory card, drive or device at our Birkenhead retail store. We'll discuss what happened and what you're hoping to recover.
2. Recovery – $135With a 95% success rate, the odds are firmly in your favour. Our specialists' time and expertise go into every recovery, so the flat $135 fee applies whether or not your data can be retrieved – no hidden costs, one rate covers the full recovery.
3. Recovery in progress We use professional recovery tools to safely extract your files. The original device is never written to during the recovery process.
4. Collect your files Recovered files are returned to you on a new memory card, USB drive, or DVD — whichever suits you best.

Before you bring it in

To give your files the best chance of recovery, please follow these guidelines:

• Stop using the device immediately — continued use can overwrite recoverable data
• Do not reformat or attempt to repair the device yourself
• Avoid using free recovery software, which can corrupt remaining data
• Bring the device, any cables or readers, and details of what's missing
