About this product
The Swarovski NL Pure 14x52 Green combines powerful 14x magnification, 52 mm objectives, a 93 m field of view at 1,000 m, 91% light transmission and SWAROVISION optics for detailed long-range observation in challenging light.
Swarovski Optik · NL Pure 52 · Green
Reach beyond the obvious.
The NL Pure 14x52 is built for the details that remain distant to conventional binoculars. Fourteen-power magnification, light-gathering 52 mm objectives and a remarkably expansive 70° apparent field combine with SWAROVISION optics for demanding observation across open country, alpine terrain and the last useful light of the day.

SWAROVISION optics
Fourteen-power detail. A view that still feels open.
The 14× system enlarges fine structure at long range, while its 5.3° true field translates into a broad 70° apparent viewing angle. Field-flattener lenses preserve useful definition toward the edge, and the 52 mm front lenses give the optical system more light-gathering area to support observation when distance and fading light arrive together.
14× long-range reach
Resolve distant plumage, antler structure, animal markings and terrain detail with forty percent more linear magnification than a 10× binocular.
93 m field of view
See 93 metres across at 1,000 metres—279 feet at 1,000 yards—without the cramped feeling often associated with high-power binoculars.
52 mm / 91%
The 52 mm objectives provide approximately 53% more front-lens area than 42 mm objectives, while the optical system is specified for 91% light transmission.
27.0 twilight factor
The combination of 14× magnification and a 52 mm aperture produces the highest ISO twilight factor in the NL Pure family.
Long-range perspective
Built for the observation that takes time.
At 14×, small differences become visible sooner: feather pattern, horn profile, ear position, movement across a distant face. The NL Pure 52 places that reach in a body designed for hand-held scanning, forehead-rest stability or fully supported tripod observation.
Large 52 mm objectives extend useful observation into the difficult light around dawn and dusk.
The dedicated tripod connection turns 14× reach into a calm, highly resolved view during extended glassing.
The optional FRP forehead rest adds a third contact point to quiet small hand movements at fourteen power.
A purpose-built TAs-NL interface keeps the supported setup compact and centred beneath the binocular.
The supplied carrying and protection system keeps the 14×52 ready for travel, setup and field use.
High power, broad perspective
More reach without losing the landscape.
At 14×, the NL Pure shows a 93 m-wide section at 1,000 m. That 5.3° true field gives you enough context to search an open face, follow a moving animal or compare several distant subjects before committing to a closer inspection.
The eyepiece design expands that true field into a 70° apparent view. The result feels immersive rather than tunnel-like, even though distant detail is being enlarged fourteen times.

SWAROVISION
The resolution to make fourteen power worthwhile.
High magnification is only useful when the optical system can preserve the detail it enlarges. Field-flattener lenses maintain definition across the viewing area, fluoride-containing HD glass helps suppress distracting colour fringing, and the SWAROBRIGHT prism system supports neutral colour reproduction.
SWAROTOP anti-reflective coatings help light pass efficiently through the system, while SWARODUR protects exposed optical surfaces. Together, these technologies deliver the contrast, colour fidelity and edge performance needed to distinguish subtle structure at distance.
Three ways to steady 14×
Hand-held freedom. Supported precision.
The narrowed waist and oval recess follow the natural space between thumb and forefinger, giving the 1,020 g body a secure, balanced hold. The broad central focusing wheel stays within easy reach, so focus can be refined without rebuilding your grip.
For longer sessions, the optional FRP forehead rest creates a third contact point. When maximum detail matters, the dedicated TAs-NL connection transfers the binocular to a tripod so the optical resolution is no longer competing with hand movement.
Built for real weather
Mountain-ready construction.
A rigid magnesium housing carries the larger 52 mm optical system, while protective rubber armouring and inert-gas filling prepare it for changing temperatures, heavy rain and demanding field use. The NL Pure 14x52 is submersion-tight to 4 m and specified to operate from −25°C to +55°C.
4 m tightness
Sealed against water ingress to a submersion depth of 4 metres / 13 feet.
Inert-gas filled
Internal gas filling helps prevent internal fogging through sudden temperature changes.
−25 to +55°C
Specified functional temperature range for winter mornings through hot summer conditions.
Magnesium housing
A rigid, premium chassis combines structural strength with practical field weight.
Fit and viewing comfort
Adjust it precisely to you.
Four eyecup positions, 17 mm eye relief, independent diopter correction and a broad interpupillary range help place both eyes accurately behind the 3.6 mm exit pupils for one clean, shadow-free viewing circle.
17 mm eye relief
A practical exit-pupil distance supports comfortable alignment, including for many spectacle wearers.
56–74 mm IPD
Adjust the hinge spacing until the left and right images merge into one circular field.
±4 dpt
Independent diopter adjustment compensates for differences between the viewer’s eyes.
Four eyecup positions
Fully in, fully out and two intermediate stops help place the eyes at the correct distance.
Controls and connection points
Everything where it should be.
From the four-position eyecups to the dedicated tripod interface, each control is positioned for quick adjustment without interrupting observation.
Move keyboard focus to a numbered marker, hover it with a pointer, or tap it on a touch screen to reveal the corresponding part name.
1Twist-in eyecups
Use the four positions to set the correct eye distance with or without glasses.
2Diopter adjustment
Balances differences between the left and right eye, with a defined zero position.
3Focusing wheel
Moves smoothly from the 3.8 m close-focus distance through to infinity.
4TAs-NL connection
Accepts the optional Swarovski TAs-NL tripod adapter for supported 14× observation.
5Strap connector covers
Protect the side connection points when the carrying-strap fittings are removed.
652 mm objectives
Collect light across two large apertures to support a 3.6 mm exit pupil, 91% transmission and a twilight factor of 27.0.
7Ergonomic open bridge
Creates the NL Pure’s characteristic waist and gives the fingers a natural, secure hold.
Start with the eyecups and interpupillary distance, then calibrate the diopter. These settings establish the complete viewing field and keep both eyes sharply focused.
1. Set the eyecups
Without glasses, twist counterclockwise fully out. With glasses, twist clockwise fully in. Use either intermediate stop if it gives a cleaner full field.
2. Set eye spacing
Move the binocular halves at the central hinge until both fields merge into one circular image with no dark shadows around the edge.
3. Calibrate the diopter
Focus the left eye with the main wheel, then keep that setting and use the diopter control to sharpen the image for the right eye.
4. Focus near to far
Turn the central focusing wheel to move continuously from the 3.8 m minimum focus distance through to infinity.
5. Manage the lens covers
Pull the objective covers down for viewing. They can be removed and the supplied filler pieces inserted when an uncovered front end is preferred.
6. Attach the carrying strap
Seat the strap-loop connectors securely in the side fittings and check both connections before carrying the binocular in the field.
