Very Practical
This is by far the most practical eyepiece I own, since I do not need to keep swapping eyepieces depending on the magnification. The only downside is that you cannot really fir filters to it, since the barrel is occupied by the lens casing.
Celestron 8 - 24mm 1.25" zoom eyepiece
Ordered Monday, delivered Tuesday - great service and communication after the order placed. Only had a brief period of use, peering between clouds but sufficient time to assess that it was a good step up from the OEM eyepiece that came with the scope (Skywatcher). Smooth operation and very close to being parfocal - nice! No problem discerning bands on Jupiter's surface, a first with this scope. Very pleased with the field of view and edge to edge sharpness. Highly recommended.
Service was great - prompt
Service was great - prompt and all items delivered in days.
Celestron 8 to 24mm 1.25" Zoom eyepiece
Excellent optics for value, makes viewing the dimmer deep sky objects easier as I no longer need to keep on swapping eyepieces and filters. For the first time last night I managed to resolve individual stars of the dimmer globular clusters of M3,M5 and M62.Very gratifying to be able to visually distinguish their characteristics.
