The Giant is equipped with a heavy-duty horizontal mounting point making it easy to attach the Konus Giant to any photographic tripod which means there is no additional mounting required. The sliding mounting point can be positioned anywhere on the full length mounting rail to allow the binocular to be balanced in the best, most comfortable position for the user who is out in very uncomfortable conditions that can be found throughout New Zealand. The large comfortable eyepieces that have soft fold-down rubber eyecups, the Giant is also effective and comfortable for eyeglass wearers.

I am pretty impressed with these binoculars, I think they are better suited to looking up, rather than terrestrial views, although they do give a pretty good image so far for that too. Will continue using them in different scenarios to see what kind of results I guess. Over all they are value for money.

I am really impressed with these binoculars at this price. They have a good sized exit pupil and catch lots of light for stargazing, and are robust. The first object I caught with them was the Hercules Globular Cluster which is too close to the horizon in NZ for my telescope on my urban deck. Although you can do some hand held viewing, these binoculars require a good sturdy tripod of at least 160cm, and one that allows you to observe the zenith if used for starazing.
