The PowerSeeker 60 is a refractor telescope perfect for terrestrial and celestial viewing on the go. The PowerSeekercan view the planets, moon, star clusters and brighter deep sky objects like the Orion Nebula and Andromeda Galaxy at night. The erect image star diagonal makes the optical tube ideal for using as a spotting scope during the day.
Setting up the telescope is a breeze, so you can begin observing in no time. Even on your first time out, you can assemble the telescope and its accessories in just a few minutes. The adjustable tripod legs allow you to customize the telescopes height or place it on raised surfaces like a picnic table.
Manual Alt-Azimuth telescope
Navigate the sky with a pan handle Alt-Az control with clutch for smooth and accurate pointing. Move the clutch in an up/down, left/right fashion to track your object in the eyepiece.
The PowerSeeker 60 comes with two eyepieces (20mm and 4mm), erect image diagonal, finderscope, and a Barlow lens. The two eyepieces offer different magnifications to view your intended object. The 3x Barlow lens triples the magnifying power of each eyepiece. The erect image diagonal allows for right-side-up viewing ideal for terrestrial subjects but can also be used for celestial objects. The finderscope will help you quickly centre an object in your eyepiece for easier observing.

The telescope arrived yesterday, setting it up was super quick and very easy. So far my partner and I have seen the craters of the moon, Venus in one of its lunar phases where it looks like a crescent moon, Jupiter and its bands (stripes), also 4 of Jupiters moons, and we managed to see the rings of Saturn ! This was all in the first night of using this telescope. Very excited to see what else we can discover.
This is a birthday present. Will see how we go once " the husband" has read the instruction book.
Nice telescope, good value.
Very easy to assemble and use. Great product
