About this productBoasting nearly twice the light-gathering power of a 10" Newtonian, the Skyliner 300P is the only 3-point retractable Dobsonian in the market place with full Goto facilities and servo motor tracking. Deep Sky objects are better realised optically and contrast is significantly improved as well. Such a large instrument is normally difficult to store and transport - not so the 300P! It can be easily fitted in the boot or back seat of an ordinary-sized car and taken away from light-polluted areas.

Too early to use my new telescope, still building a platform. Jacobs Digital was very fast with dispatch, but sent the wrong telescope. Fortunately they gracefully rectified their mistake, also very quickly. The transformer they sent this week didn't have the NZ plug, as advertised. So all in all they provide very fast and helpful service, but accuracy could be improved.
